Hey guys. Well, I guess I should explain what "Dorm" is. First of all, the name is a bit confusing haha. The OFFICIAL title is "Not Another Youtube Series In Which A Bunch Of Crazy People Co-Exist Together In A Dorm Room, Or Dorm For Short" but we simply call the series "Dorm" for short.
This youtube series was inspired by a skit that I wrote for our school talent show originally titled "Dorm" but changed to "The Latest Craze" by the talent show committee. "Dorm" received many roars of laughter, intense applause and a ton of compliments, so we decided it would be even better as a youtube series.
The original skit follows the insane lives of Ellen(Pacman addict), Matthew (Multiple personality disorder) Georgia(Narcoleptic), Tammy(Schizophrenic), Jamie(World of Warcraft addict), Joan(Tone-deaf), Carol(Nervous twitch), Amy(Short term memory loss), and Valerie(Music fanatic). However, the youtube series introduces three new main characters: Betty Barker(Sensory deficiency), Aphrodite(A psychic with useless visions) and Frank(An ex-steroid addict).
The actors and actresses involved in the project are amazing at what they do and each part was written just for that actor. They are as followed: Ryan Caravella(Matthew), Mary Dillon(Betty), Iz Costanzo(Tammy), Meghan Ames(Jamie), Liz Alakas(Joan), Jessica Smith(Carol), Lauren Biazzo(Amy), Valerie SanFilippo(Valerie), Ali SanFilippo(Aphrodite), Tom Schrank(Frank), and Nicole Bansen(Georgia).
